The Maximizer CRM M3 2025 release introduces a powerful suite of updates designed to enhance user experience, streamline data entry, and strengthen sales and marketing efforts. Whether you’re already using Maximizer or evaluating CRM options, the M3 release delivers significant improvements that align with modern business needs.

Here’s a summary of what’s new:

1. SendGrid email marketing integration

The new SendGrid integration empowers users to manage email campaigns and mailing lists directly within Maximizer. Built for scalability, SendGrid handles high email volumes with a 97% deliverability rate, making it ideal for outbound communication.

Key highlights:

A new Campaigns module has also been introduced, replacing “Campaigns Classic” for improved usability and reporting.

2. SurveyMonkey native integration

Maximizer’s new native integration with SurveyMonkey enables survey responses to automatically populate CRM fields – both standard and custom. This opens up opportunities for self-service data updates, customer satisfaction surveys, and lead qualification forms.

This marks a shift towards deeper integration with tools businesses already use for feedback and data collection.

3. Customisable CRM workflows

This release introduces customisable workflows that dynamically show or hide fields based on defined rules, reducing clutter and improving data accuracy.

Benefits include:

Currently available for cloud users only and implemented via Maximizer’s Professional Services team, this feature addresses one of the most common CRM adoption challenges – data entry friction.

4. Business card scanning in the mobile app

A standout addition to the mobile app is the ability to scan business cards to create new leads or contacts.

Functionality includes:

Unlike third-party tools or bolt-ons, this capability is built directly into Maximizer’s mobile app – offering value straight out of the box.

5. Product-Led Growth (PLG) features

Two PLG enhancements are designed to drive better onboarding and team collaboration:

Onboarding checklist

Guides new users through key steps like uploading data, setting up integrations, and creating records – helping them get value faster from their trial.

Invite trial users

Admins can invite up to five additional users with the same email domain to try Maximizer, enabling cross-functional teams to evaluate the CRM together.

6. Assisted data import (beta)

For businesses wary of importing data themselves, Maximizer now offers a guided import option. Users can download pre-formatted templates, upload completed files and receive direct support from the Maximizer team to complete the import.

This hands-on service is currently being rolled out and is aimed at easing onboarding for smaller teams and non-technical users.

If you’re part of a small business sales team, you know how challenging it can be to stay on top of tasks while managing multiple apps. With the new Maximizer CRM integration with Microsoft 365, your workflow got much smoother. This powerful update allows you to handle your CRM tasks directly in the Microsoft tools you already rely on, like Outlook and Teams, eliminating distractions and keeping you focused on what matters most—closing deals.

Why Maximizer’s Integration with Microsoft 365 Matters

In today’s fast-paced business environment, efficiency is key. The more you can do within a single platform, the better. Maximizer understands this, which is why they’ve integrated their CRM directly with Microsoft 365. This integration is designed to keep you focused on what you do best—building relationships and closing deals—without the hassle of constantly jumping between different applications.

One of the biggest pain points for sales teams is manually logging emails, updating CRM records, and collaborating with team members across various platforms. This not only takes time but also increases the likelihood of errors. Maximizer’s integration with Microsoft 365 solves this problem by allowing you to handle all these tasks right where you work, in Outlook and Teams.

What You’ll Love About This Integration

  1. Productivity Boost Within Outlook and Teams: With this integration, you can manage your CRM without ever leaving Outlook or Teams. Whether it’s updating contact details, managing conversations, or turning an email into a sales opportunity with a single click, you can do it all without missing a beat. This not only saves time but also helps you stay in your workflow, making it easier to focus on your sales goals.
  2. Real-Time Data Access, Anywhere: In sales, having the right information at the right time is crucial. Maximizer’s integration with Microsoft 365 ensures that your customer data is always up to date and accessible whenever you need it. Whether you’re in the office, on the road, or working from home, you can access the latest customer information with ease. This means no more scrambling for details during a crucial call or meeting.
  3. Improved Collaboration for Sales Teams: Sales is rarely a solo endeavour. It requires teamwork and seamless communication. With Maximizer’s integration with Microsoft 365, collaborating with your team has never been easier. You can create Teams chats linked to your CRM, ensuring that everyone stays in sync and that critical information is shared promptly. This helps to eliminate miscommunication and ensures that your team can work together more effectively.

The Bigger Picture: Why This Matters for Your Business

Maximizer’s integration with Microsoft 365 isn’t just about adding convenience; it’s about ensuring that your sales team can operate as efficiently as possible without any unnecessary disruptions. With Microsoft phasing out some older technologies, this integration is a proactive step by Maximizer to ensure that your sales operations remain smooth and uninterrupted.

For small businesses, where resources are often stretched thin, this kind of efficiency can make a significant difference. By embedding CRM functions directly within Microsoft 365, Maximizer is not only simplifying the sales process but also empowering sales teams to achieve better results with less effort.

Maximizer have now introduced a supporting module called Cases which can be found in your primary Navigation bar on the left-hand side. If you cannot see this module, you will need to turn the visibility on under personal preferences in the platform settings.

You are presented with a number of filters at the top where you can:

  1. Define the creation date
  2. Select the user or users that cases have been assigned to.
  3. Choose the priority and case type
  4. And then how you want the filtered list to be sorted.

Status management of cases is as simple as click and drag. Just grab the case you wish to manage and move it over to the correct status. Each case tile will display:

Hello and welcome to another quick tips video from the team here at Collier Pickard. Today’s focus is on a module in Maximizer called Leads. This module is a separate address book where you can nurture prospects before moving them over to your main address book. In this video, I will show you how to access the module, give you a quick walkthrough, and we can have a look at a working example together.

Leads can be found in the navigation bar that runs down the left-hand side of the screen. If you cannot see it, come up to the settings cog, click on personal preferences, and then customise the icon bar. Find Leads in the list and click on the little eye to the right. Click on OK and click on Save.

Now, we can jump into Leads. You will be presented with a list of leads that you’re currently working on. You could either add them manually by clicking the new lead button at the top, or remember that Maximizer has a full import facility and we can just bring the leads in from an Excel spreadsheet.

Back to the leads in the list, we can do some whitespace reporting. You can see a process and stage is missing, as well as an email address on an active lead. Let’s start with the active lead. At the top, you will get a snapshot of the data followed by the process that we are working on. You can have as many processes with as many stages as you require. Then, we have some more details at the bottom as well as a timeline of events.

We need to fill in that email address, so we can click on edit at the top of the screen. The top half of the screen is all out-of-the-box fields from Maximizer, everything from first name down to country. We need to fill in the email address. At the bottom, you will have custom fields or what Maximizer calls user-defined fields. These can be alphanumeric, date, numeric, pick list, or table fields.

We can now click on Save and go back into the list. We’ve filled in our email address. Now, the column setup that runs along the top of the screen—you can have any combination of out-of-the-box fields and custom fields to make sure that you are always looking at the right information.

Let’s look at managing our unqualified lead. The first thing we need to do is to select a process because they are unqualified. So, I’ll put them on the first leads process, move it over to working, and click set stage. Now, I can phone Albert and progress that lead, hopefully into an opportunity.

If we look at our active lead, Renie from Sunrise Adventures, you may have seen earlier that I have a task to send a quotation for 50 units. I can now classify this as an opportunity and I can convert this over to the address book. Fill in the objective for the opportunity that is to be created and click convert. It gives you a date for the conversion. Now, I can go up to the top and search my main address book for Sunrise, which will take me through to their record. If I click on the opportunities tab in the secondary navigation bar, you can see the opportunity that’s there ready for me to start working on.
