One of the great things about Infor CRM is that you can tweak things to suit your particular work processes and business needs. These little changes can make a big difference in the way you collect data and how this information is used to increase efficiency and enrich your understanding of your customer. In this blog, we take a look at how you can edit a form, change the caption format, and add or change a Tooltip. These changes can only be done by a CRM Administrator – and as always, take care when making any amendments to your Infor CRM system.

Steps to alter the display of the caption using HTML formatting

  • Log into the Web Client as the Administrator
  • Next, navigate to the screen you want to change
  • Click the “Edit Form”    icon – this is only available if it is a Quick Form and is Customisable by you
  • You will be presented with the Form Designer
  • Click the Control you want to change
  • Make the required change and click Save

Please note that it will only change this for the Invariant language i.e. EN – you will need to change the Culture in the top right of the screen to change language and make the same change.

How to add or change a Tooltip
