How much does CRM actually cost?

At times it can feel like trying to find the end of a rainbow. In the world of CRM, prices can vary massively, from free but limited to bank-breaking but with all the bells and whistles. So, how much does CRM actually cost?

We already have several articles on the cost of CRM such as – How much does CRM cost?, Cheap CRM – but what are the hidden costs?, How much does Maximizer CRM 2020 cost? And more. So, I’m going to make this article short.

Whichever provider and product you choose, the multitude of benefits provided by CRM software – time saved, opportunities seized, profits boosted – make it a key investment for any small business.

There are a couple of different pricing models used by CRM providers – Free (until you want the useful features), a set basic fee with modular pricing models, i.e. the basic license is ¬£20/month, but if you want marketing automation, that’s another ¬£40 per license, etc. And finally, one fee per user for all functionalities.

There are downsides and benefits to each model, but ultimately which CRM system that you go with will come down to functionality and how it will fit in with the company culture.

On top of the cost of the system, you will also be looking at implementation, training, and support. As with any software implementation, you should also take into consideration the savings that you’ll be making and the benefits provided by the software.

  4. Reduction in reporting time
  5. Improved decision making

The most important thing is to choose a provider and a plan that includes everything your team needs to succeed.
