Creatio Lunch & Learn Wrap Up – Matthew Head

Creatio Lunch & LearnBefore I talk about our Creatio Lunch & Learn event, I’m going to start with a question – what is better than a day trip to London in the Spring? I’ll tell you, a day to trip to London to meet a bunch of your clients all at the same time, at a great venue, in the Spring.

As solutions architects, Collier Pickard works tirelessly to ensure that the solutions that we provide are always hitting the mark, adding value and ultimately, providing a return on the investment.

We have some of the most interesting conversations with our clients during account reviews and education often goes both ways. We try to take these conversations and turn them into case studies so that our other clients and prospects can learn from our existing clients.

A thought occurred, What if we could create an environment where our clients could come together and swap stories about who they are and why they chose Collier Pickard as their CRM implementation partner and why they opted for Creatio as their chosen CRM solution. What if we gave our clients the Freedom to learn as well as to create.

The thought did not last long, it was turned into action almost immediately and the events team at Collier Pickard together with the original thought owner, Alan Joenn, immediately started to piece together a Creatio User Forum.

The forum was hosted by Collier Pickard and Creatio at the British Library in central London, we booked a room in the Knowledge Centre, aptly named for the day we had planned. Eight speakers, one from Creatio, two from Collier Pickard and most importantly five of our clients who are fully supported by Creatio and Collier Pickard every day.

Kicked off by Alan Joenn and Andy Wright, Creatio Enterprise Sales Executive, the forum was very quickly in full swing, and our 5 clients got the opportunity to own the floor, explain their position in the business they were representing, detail the business and then detail why they opted for Creatio and how they are using the platform.

Speakers were then engaged by the audience in the form of a Q&A before moving on to the next speaker. A light lunch was enjoyed halfway through and with us having a room full of very successful business people, naturally, there was some rather intense networking going on in the room. After the speakers had finished, we had three of our technical consultants at the ready to demonstrate the Creatio Atlas 8.0 release.

Here are my key takeaways from the Forum:

They all started their CRM Journey with the same pain point:

Not having a 360° view of a business relationship is crippling. Key data is spread across multiple spreadsheets and systems and staff spend more time collating key data before sending an email or making a call. This slows the business down considerably.

The dream of One-Platform:

This has for many years been a pipedream of the industry, is it possible to have ONE Platform that seamlessly blends Marketing, Sales & Service? Yes, and it is also very affordable.

Improving User Adoption:

A platform will be worthless if it is not used. It is not often that a system generates so much excitement for the users, staff often see CRM systems as a chore that needs constant attention.

Creatio’s ability to automate digital workflows gives users the freedom to create. This freedom builds excitement, and it is that excitement that will improve user adoption.

Really? I did not know you could do that with Creatio:

For me, this was the best part of the day. Sat in a room full of very smart people and listening to the pennies drop around the room as the speakers presented.

The freedom on offer from Creatio means that their clients often shock and amaze even themselves with the ways that they are using the platform. The audience swiftly realised that they were only using the Platform for a fraction of what they could be using it for.

Was the Forum a success?

Unquestionably! The feedback from our audience as we bid them safe travels was a testament to the success of what we had just achieved.

What had we achieved? As CRM implementation partners we furthered Creatio’s mission of Freedom. Creatio supplies the Freedom to Create whereas Collier Pickard provides the Freedom to Learn.
